The Makefield Counterbalance Putter features a longer shaft and additional weight in the head and shaft. This design shifts the balance point higher up the shaft, promoting more stability throughout the stroke. The added weight helps smooth out tempo and minimize hand interference, making counterbalance putters a great option for players seeking a more controlled and fluid motion without completely changing their putting style.
Your Makefield Counterbalance putter comes in lengths of 36” to 42” in half inch increments, with the full selection of our lie angle options (66-74* & 79*). Hosel options come for both left and right handed golfers: Heel double bend, slant neck, and plumbers neck as well as center shaft. Counterbalance weight options will be 25g, 50g , or 75g. Head style options will be the Defiant, VS, VS-F, TF, and TF-X with a standard head weight of 385g. One of the advantages of Makefield’s X-3 Weight System is players can request custom weighing for their Counterbalanced Makefield.
